Howard Gindoff is a visual artist, writer and filmmaker from way back when films were actually made using film. He has lived in Los Angeles for close to a quarter of a century and eventually intends to settle down here. A search for adventure brought him to L.A., and he definitely found it. He has worked in many aspects of the movie business and is an accomplished stand up comedian, though since he never really liked leaving his house to go to work, he eventually returned to his earliest visual arts roots, cartooning. He has been quoted as saying, "Multi-panel cartoons are the lowest budget films possible, with arguably the highest return on investment, and you can create them in your underwear while petting a dog, but don't quote me." Mr. Gindoff lives in Silver Lake with his wife and 10-year-old daughter, two dogs, three cats, a rabbit, a box turtle, two bullfrogs and a pond full of fish, many of whom appear regularly in his ongoing webcomic "The Great Cartoon of Life" which publishes on Blogspot.com.
