Bicyclist Accident

There was a horrific cycling accident on Avenue 64 at Church St. on Sunday night 6/16 around 11:15 PM The cyclist was heading South downhill on Ave 64 and was not wearing a helmet when he lost control. He was gravely wounded and I'm wondering if survived.
I post this now as a large cycling group just past the same intersection - many without helmets - blowing through the stop sign at great speed....
