Hello, I Am the New Local Editor for Eagle Rock Patch

We've done some restructuring in the area and Ajay Singh is taking over as editor of nearby South Pasadena while maintaining his editorship of Highland Park-Mt. Washington.

Hello Eagle Rockers, I am the new local editor for Eagle Rock Patch.

We've done some restructuring in the area and Ajay Singh is taking over as editor of nearby South Pasadena Patch while maintaining his editorship of Highland Park-Mt. Washington Patch.

Ajay has been editor of this site since it launched in 2010 and I've long admired his writing skill, sense of humor and deep knowledge of the local issues affecting Eagle Rock. I'm sure many of you are not happy to be losing Ajay, but keep in mind he is not going far and will still be involved in the site. Ajay and I will be in constant contact as I transition into the role, and we will be collaborating together to keep important and engaging news flowing onto the site.

I started at Patch in 2010 as editor of North Hollywood-Toluca Lake Patch and about a year ago I transitioned into the role of associate regional editor for the Los Angeles area. One of the sites I have been overseeing since that time is Eagle Rock, so I am pretty up to speed on the major issues and stories impacting the neighborhood.

If you want to familiarize yourself with some of my finer work, please check out this video documentary I produced, which was named the best Patch feature story on the West Coast in 2011: Video History of Valley and Laurel Plazas, Part 1: Empty, Forgotten, Abandoned

I live just over the hill in Altadena, and I will also be serving as editor of the Crescenta Valley Patch sites. I welcome your emails, tips, comments, questions and feedback.
