Photos: Fourth of July Fireworks Draws Thousands

An estimated 7,500 people from Eagle Rock, Highland Park, Mount Washington and surrounding communities attended Sunday's 4th Annual Northeast L.A. Concert and Fireworks. Held at the Eagle Rock Recreation Center, the event came toward the end of another unusually warm day, just as balmy breezes began to sweep the Eagle Rock Valley, bringing some respite from the heat.

Sponsored by Councilmember José Huizar and the Eagle Rock Chamber of Commerce, the show featured live music from the 50s and 60s by Ronnie & the Classics, plus booths, games and free pony rides for children.
