SW Museum

Like many of you, I have always treasured the SW Museum, was crushed when the Autry shut it down and for a period of time attended the Save the Museum Coalition.  At some point, I gave up.  It seems the City had no clout with the Autry and the treasures at the SW would be hauled away to Griffith Park.  Good for Dan Wright for never giving up.  Perhaps his frustration over the lack of support from the MWA was reflected in his choice of words.  He gives his time and expertise and the rest of us sit idly by.  Sorry Dan, I'll try to do better and I hope others will as well.  Betsy Mines
